In order to access some of the services on this site you must be registered and logged in. During registration you select a user name and password that you will use to log in. Once registered you will be able to modify all your details except your user name. Passwords are modified via the Change my Password facility.
The name by which you will identify yourself to the system. You should choose a name you will remember, for example joe.bloggs or jbloggs.
A user name must be between 6 and 20 characters long, begin with a letter, and may contain only alphanumeric characters, underscore (_), hyphen (-) and fullstop (.). User names are not case sensitive so typing Joe.Bloggs is the same as joe.bloggs.
When logging into the system you must provide both a user name and a password to authenticate yourself. In order to maximise the effectiveness of your password the password must be between 6 and 12 characters long, contain at least one digit, and may not be the same as your user name. Passwords are case sensitive.
You must retype your password exactly as entered into the password field to confirm you have typed it correctly.
If you have forgotten your password, a question and answer facility will verify your identity and allow you to allocate another password. In order to keep your user registration secure, please choose your question carefully so that the answer is known only to you.
The question and answer may be left blank if you do not wish to use this facility.
The answer is not case-sensitive, but will otherwise require an exact match when you use the forgotten password facility.
